WHO IS OCHA?
The Ocean City Housing Authority was established in 1958.
The purpose of the Ocean City Housing Authority is to provide affordable housing for low and moderate-income residents of Ocean City. The OCHA consists of 121 units, Bay View Manor and Pecks Beach Village. Serving families and seniors
The Ocean City Housing Authority was created by municipal ordinance, pursuant to the provisions of the New Jersey Local Housing Authorities Law NJSA 40A:12A-49. The six members of the Board of Commissioners are appointed by local city council with, one mayoral appointment. The seventh board member is a State appointment chosen by the Commissioner of the NJ Department of Community Affairs.
